His storytelling fulfilled the prophecy: I will open my mouth and tell stories; I will bring out into the open things hidden since the world’s first day." — Matthew 13:34-35 This weekend (4/30) is a Reset Sunday — we will not gather for worship in community. Instead, we encourage you to connect with God and with others out in the world. Sabbath is not just a break, but true rest that reminds us of our unity with God, creation, and one another. In our day & age of endless amounts of data & information, the critical role of storytelling to shape us is more important than ever. Stories connect us to others; they remind us we are not alone. Ultimately, our story tells us that we belong to God, we are God's people, and we're being called to hold nothing back when it comes to loving God and our neighbors. We invite you to celebrate the joy of Jesus' resurrection with us tomorrow, Easter Sunday (April 9th), at 10:30 am at Sandburg Elementary in Mira Mesa!
