Our Reason for Being

We believe God has not given up on the world, and neither have we.

Jesus is our Wonderful Savior and Risen King. We believe the heart of God is to restore the entire world He so loves through Christ, and we want to wrap our lives around that mission together.

Jesus said the greatest thing we could do with our lives is to love God with everything we have, and to love the real people around us in the same way (Matthew 22:37-40).

God turns what was broken into something beautiful, including each of our lives. We invite you to join us as we grow together in the dreams God has for us, our city, and the world through Jesus.

Friends, here are a few reflection questions from Pastor Jeya's sermon this past Sunday (the Third Sunday in Lent): As we enter this second week of Lent, what would it look like for us as Anchor & Hope to become door holders for others around us? Who could be welcomed in? What might happen to their lives (and ours) in the presence of Jesus? This past Sunday, Pastor Jeya asked us to reflect on Mark 6:30-44 with the following questions: Today is Ash Wednesday, which marks the start of the season of Lent, where we remember Jesus' life and death — and, at the end of this season, celebrate Christ's resurrection on Easter Sunday.
