Perhaps you’ve heard it asked before: If you feel far from God, who do you think moved?
Repentance can sound awful to our modern ears. Images of self-righteous “preachers” wielding BIbles as weapons, heaping on guilt and condemnation.
However, this couldn’t be farther from the truth about repentance. Many times, we need to clear out the sin, mess, and clutter that have blinded our eyes from seeing Jesus and have plugged our ears from hearing His voice. If we want a clear view of His beautiful face, we need to be real about the sin in our lives that so easily clouds our vision.
But what freedom we find when our eyes are finally opened and our ears can finally hear!
